How to get there

From Sapporo: about two and a half hours on ordinary roads: Route 230 over the Nakayama Pass, Route 276 to Kyogoku, Prefectural Road 478 toward Kutchan, then up Prefectural Road 58 and over the Panorama Line past Goshiki Onsen (late April to October). In winter that stretch is closed, so come from the Niseko town / Rankoshi side.
